Columbia, MD, Law Firm Overview
Knowledge is Power and Peace of Mind
One of the biggest problems people have when in need of legal services is the feeling of being helpless. Because most people don't understand the legal system, they feel like there is little they can do to help themselves.
We work hard to empower our clients and help them understand what they are going through. We believe that educating our clients helps take the stress away and allows them to see clearly and make the best decisions possible for their lives. Either call our Columbia, MD office, or contact us online.
With education in our backgrounds, we learned the value of knowledge and good communication. We make sure you know what's happening in your case, so you are empowered to make the best decisions possible.
Diverse Backgrounds Benefiting You
Both of the attorneys in our brother and sister legal team have diverse backgrounds and were inspired to go into law, each taking our own unique path:
Damani Ingram: Damani comes from a teaching background. After earning his J.D., Damani taught English and served as the Union Representative for the Maryland State Teachers Association. Then, inspired by his father's ability to help people through the law, Damani began serving as in-house counsel for a friend with his own business. He has represented and worked with many notable celebrities in the NFL, NBA, and WNBA, and has handled transactions throughout the Middle East and Africa.
Anika Ingram: Anika studied foreign languages, spending college time offering community service for underprivileged children. After college, she worked as a songwriter, and is still a member of ASCAP, the American Society of Composers Authors and Publishers. Like Damani, she saw the law as a way to truly help people. She works regularly with the National Center for Immigrant and Refugee Children, helping children detained at border.
One common thread that inspired us to start this law firm is the desire to help people. We see the law as a helping profession; that is why we do what we do.
